Validating two usercontrols

The control allows you to validate both clientside and serverside, where the serverside approach is probably the most powerful. Can some one please help me identify ways to do this type of validations of user input without a postback to the server? You say you have two textboxes two hold 4 pieces of data: start date, start time, end date, and end time.
